| The Association of Dutch Suppliers in the Oil and Gas Industry |
|
| Training courses | IRO has developed a course that aims at providing a clear view on the ins and outs of the upstream oil and gas industry, both onshore and offshore.
This non-technical course is set up for people who work in the industry but lack the basic knowledge about it. This can either be new employees or present employees who do not require to know about oil and gas for their job, but who need to have a general understanding about how oil and gas came into being, how it is found, how it is produced, what technology is used and how the industry is organised. The course is not only useful to people who work for a company in the oil and gas industry, but also for people who provide products and services to the sector.
The information is presented in a chronological order and in a clear way, both in the syllabus and during the course. Numerous illustrations support the information provided. As the oil and gas sector is an international industry, commonly used terms are in English, which will also be explained and illustrated.
The course is given during two consecutive days at a yard in Rotterdam. You will receive a syllabus of which the theory will be discussed during the course and which will serve as future reference book. A tour will be given at the yard where course is given to illustrate what you learned. Furthermore, you will receive a certificate of participation.
In-house courses or English courses are available. The prices and dates are upon request.
The costs for either a Dutch or English course are
* IRO members € 495,- excl. VAT per participant
* Non-members € 795,- excl. VAT per participant
and include teaching material, lunch, refreshments and an excursion.
For available dates please check the Calendar of Events.
